Bookkeeper

Job Summary:

To assist and provide support to help ensure the efficient operation of the accounting department.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Create financial spreadsheets and correspondence as needed
  • Process payroll for all employees on a bi-weekly basis
  • Assist with benefits administration, bookkeeping and other duties/projects as needed
  • Conduct analytical research in our Electronic Medical Records system
  • Assist with the development and monitoring of purchasing
  • Assist Chief Financial Officer with the development and ongoing maintenance of accounting standard operating procedures
  • Assist Chief Operations Officer with duties/projects as needed

Required Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Quick Books experience (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (required)
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • A minimum of one year experience with an accounting/bookkeeping background (required)
  • High level of confidentially (required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
