Do you take appointments?
When you use “Save Your Spot,” you are booking a time to visit KidMed that best suits your schedule, and you’ve reserved your place in line using Solv.
We will do our best to see you at your selected time, but please keep in mind that there are times when our clinics may be busier and patients may require more time to receive the care they need.
Do you do COVID testing?
Yes, we offer same-day rapid and send out PCR tests.
What ages do you see?
We see kids ages newborn to 25 years of age.
Do you take insurance?
We accept most insurances; a complete list is on our website.
Do you accept Medicaid?
Yes, we accept VA Medicaid only.
What if I do not have insurance?
We will collect $150 as a deposit towards your visit. You will be billed for the remaining balance.
Do you offer school physicals?
We do not do school physicals.
Do you offer sports physicals?
Yes, sports physicals are $50.
We are not able to bill sports physicals through insurance.
Do you offer telemedicine?
No, we do not offer telemedicine at this time.
What do I need to bring?
Your insurance card, valid ID, and co-pay.
Do you do x-rays?
Yes, we do digital x-rays.
Are you open on holidays?
Yes, we are open 365 days a year. See our Hours page for holiday hours.
“save your spot” faqs
What is “Save Your Spot”?
KidMed uses Solv, an online tool that allows you to choose a time to visit one of our locations that is convenient for you.
Everything is done online: registration, paperwork, viewing a live waitlist, and check-in.
Additionally, your insurance information and completed paperwork are saved for the next time you need to visit KidMed. This eliminates the need for you to complete duplicate information.
Is “Save Your Spot” an appointment?
When you use “Save Your Spot,” you are booking a time to visit KidMed that best suits your schedule, and you’ve reserved your place in line using Solv.
We will do our best to see you at your selected time, but please keep in mind that there are times when our clinics may be busier and patients may require more time to receive the care they need.
The good news is that you can view the Live Waitlist on your phone from the comfort of your home or wherever you are!
Your spot is on HOLD until we receive ALL completed forms AND you’ve checked in.
Arrive at the clinic before your designated time, have all of your paperwork completed, and come inside to check-in.
Do I have to book a time online, or do you accept walk-ins?
We welcome walk-in patients! Walk-ins will speak with one of our Patient Registration Representatives who will provide the QR code to register and be added to the queue.
Is my spot guaranteed to be saved once I’ve registered?
Your spot is on HOLD until we receive ALL completed forms AND you’ve checked in.
When I use “Save Your Spot” to register, will I have to fill out paperwork each time I bring my child to KidMed?
No. One of the great features of using the Solv platform to “Save Your Spot” is that once you upload your insurance information and fill out the paperwork, we will already have it in our system for the next time you need to visit KidMed.
How do I book a visit through Solv?
You can book your visit to KidMed by clicking here. Then choose your preferred time and clinic location.
Once you’ve received a text confirming that Solv has booked your visit, follow the prompts to complete the registration and paperwork through our Solv portal.
Can I register more than one child for a visit at the same time?
If you are bringing multiple children to be seen, please register each child separately.
Note that we will work to see them at the same time.
How do I know how long the wait is?
You can view your place in line by looking at the Live Waitlist in Solv, our online booking tool.
By checking the Live Waitlist, you can wait in the comfort of your home instead of the parking lot or our lobby.
Arrive at the clinic before your designated time, have all of your paperwork completed, and come inside to check-in.
Can I reply to the text messages I received?
You can easily communicate with our Patient Registration team by replying to the text messages you received when you registered.
How far in advance can I “Save Your Spot”?
We allow bookings up to three days in advance.
How do I cancel or reschedule my booked time slot?
When you “Save Your Spot” with KidMed using Solv, you’ll receive a confirmation email and a text message with visit details. The confirmation email will have links to “Change Your Visit.”
Alternatively, you can log in to your Solv account, go to Manage Visits > View Details > Change > Choose Reschedule or Cancel.

Where can I view upcoming and past bookings in my Solv account?
Once you have created a Solv account and logged in, go to the “Get Care” tab. You will see the “Manage Visits” button at the bottom of the page. This is where your upcoming and past bookings live.
