KidMed is open 365 days a year,with special hours on:
- New Year’s Day: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

- Labor Day: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Thanksgiving: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Christmas Eve: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

- New Year’s Eve: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
A $30 after hours fee is added to the standard visit copay for services provided:
- After 5:00 PM on weekdays
- On Saturday or Sunday
- On a federal or state holiday
This nominal additional cost to be seen after-hours by a pediatric-trained medical provider is substantially less* than a visit to a hospital emergency room.
* According to Debt.org, going to an emergency room can be around 10 times more expensive than visiting an urgent care clinic.
