Urgent care, just for kids.

The nursing staff was absolutely awesome with my 16-year-old who needed stitches for the first time. They were friendly and supportive and were very intentional about trying to put her at ease. I very much appreciated the care that she received…if I could give more than 5 stars for bedside manner, I would!

Every experience at the Short Pump KidMed has been wonderful. We’ve gone for X-rays, stitches, colds, and even a crazy and traumatizing eye flush. We are treated with kindness and respect. And I never feel like I’m bothering or wasting their time. Everyone from the front to the back are professional and empathetic to our situations. I would recommend them over the sick visit at my pediatrician office anytime!

My daughter said it best – “They make a great team, don’t they?!!” So impressed with the level of care and compassion that she received at KidMed today. The staff took care of all of my daughter’s needs and anxieties with such patience, kindness, and encouragement. What I thought was the flu turned out to be pneumonia. So thankful that I chose to bring her to KidMed!

Bedside manner was great from everyone and it was very convenient that they can X-ray right there and get a diagnosis right away.  Thank you so much!

Our 4-month-old baby girl was diagnosed with RSV. The doctors and nurses were extremely nice and gentle with her when suctioning out her nose. They explained everything to us in great detail. We always have a great experience!

The staff were so professional and took the time to make my daughter comfortable when she was scared to get the test swabs.

My daughter had to get stitches from a dog bite. The nurse and PA were awesome. The PA was kind and gentle and explained everything. I would highly recommend the PA for any child needing stitches!
